I met Jim Papastathis at a time when I was just starting to photograph the Sacramento music scene. A friendship developed that resulted in meeting and having access to his bands and many others in the region. People who know Jim would agree that his talents are unique and, as I told him on many occasions, his guitar always has something to say. Although he began in the business about 50 years ago, he is still enthusiastic about improving his technique and writing and recording new songs, which he continues to do. This track is from a recent recording session.
